WAYS TO GIVE:
ONLINE…
Using your credit or debit card. You can set up 1-time or recurring gifts to any OCC fund.
IN PERSON…
At our Sunday worship gatherings, you can leave a gift in a giving envelope.
TEXT…
Text a dollar amount to 84321 - then follow the prompts.
BANK ACCOUNT…
ACH or BILL PAY:
Set up a direct debit from one of your bank accounts. It’s basically a direct deposit to OCC. ACH stands for “automated clearing house”. Learn more below…
MAIL…
OCC will receive your contributions mailed to: P.O. Box 2799, Riverside, CA 92516.
Ways to MAXIMIZE your gifts:
Respond to God, not us.
When you give to OCC, your gifts are to God whose mission OCC is carrying out.
God wants cheerful givers (2 Cor. 9:7b), who give to him intentionally, regularly (1 Cor. 16:2), and proportionally (Malachi 3:8-18).
Decide in your heart, and carry out that plan. “Each one must give as he has made up his mind…” 2 Corinthians 9:7a.
Automate!
Automating your giving does a few things…
Helps you follow through with what you have decided to give - by helping you not to forget.
Most people don’t like parting with their hard-earned money. Automated giving helps you preemptively win the emotional wrestling match that takes place in your heart each time you give.
Stabilizes the church’s budget, making the income more predictable – especially during the summer months.
Saves you on checks, gas (running to the ATM), postage, and time.
Set up automated through ACH or online banking.
ACH and Bill Pay really maximizes your gift because OCC pays some extra fees for receiving: Debit card, Credit card, and Text giving. On average, OCC only receives about 97% of gifts via cards/text because of the thousands of dollars in merchant fees they generate. Setting it up through ACH or your online baking ensures we receive 100% of your gift and avoid the high merchant fees.
For Bill Pay:
Log in to your bank’s online banking.
Navigate to the “bill pay” options.
Set up OCC as a payee.
When it asks for an account number - write “TITHE”, “OFFERING” or “BUILDING” (whichever FUND you want to give to). If you aren’t sure which fund and just want to give a general gift to OCC, just write “OFFERING” in the account number field.
Now OCC will receive a physical check in the mail from your bank, according to the schedule you set up.
For ACH:
Navigate to our normal online giving webpage.
Choose a fund and gift amount.
When prompted “I’d like to give by” choose “Bank Account ACH” and follow the set up prompts.
Now OCC will receive an electronic direct deposit from you, based on how you set it up.
